The 8th of March: The International Women's Day

The 8th of March is all about flowers flowers and flowers. You can buy them everywhere, near the metro stations, business malls and convenient shops. On the 8 March, Russians celebrate the International Women's Day, and of course it's an official holiday.

Almost every man brings flowers to the women he works with, to his relatives, his wife and sometimes to his....lover

The flower industry in Russia will reach in 2010 up to 100 billion rubles. 90 percent of the Russian flower market is exported from countries such as the Netherlands, Ecuador, Columbia and Israel.
